About Our Brand & Mission
My name is Kayla, the founder of AK Wildflour, a local bakery in the heart of Wasilla, Alaska, established in 2024. What began in my home kitchen has grown into a heartfelt mission to bring people together through the love of wholesome, homemade food.
After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, I embarked on a journey to better understand the impact of what we eat on our health. Along the way, I discovered how many store-bought products are filled with preservatives, oils, and additives that do little to nourish our bodies. This realization fueled my passion for creating food that is as pure and natural as it is delicious.
At AK Wildflour, I am committed to crafting every dish and baked good from scratch, using simple, high-quality ingredients. Whenever possible, I prioritize sourcing from local producers to ensure freshness and support our community.
